What is cable TV licence?

Cable tv licence is a authorisation  given by indian government through post offices for cable tv network operators for a period of one year. Licence is issued only to a cable vision, cable network, firm, company or to and association of persons etc. Individual licence is not available in this case. As mentioned above the licence validity is for one YEAR and renewal of licence can be done without and penalty.

The next gateway is the payment for this application. The application charge for cable tv licence is 500 and also a service charge will be charged.  For making payment through post office postal order must be taken. A postal order of 500 rupees should be submitted to the post office. A complete channel list all telecasting channels along with DD channel should be strictly submitted. Licence will be availed through post with in a week after date of submission with verification of documents. Licence will be received in the registered address of the cable tv unit
